The Synergy of IMI, RAHO Club, and Lakesla: Breakthrough in Hydrogen Nanobubble Therapy for Patients with Degenerative Diseases
Indonesian Molecule Institute (IMI) has reaffirmed its role as a pioneer of innovation in the field of nanomedicine through its latest collaboration with the Reverse Aging and Homeostasis (RAHO) Club and the Indonesian Navy's Marine Health Institute (Lakesla). On August 22, 2024, the soft opening of the RAHO Club branch in Lakesla, Surabaya, marked the beginning of a research collaboration led by IMI to determine the effect of hydrogen nano bubble infusion therapy on improving cell metabolism in improving quality of life, especially for patients with degenerative diseases. As we know, degenerative diseases are the main cause of death in people around the world, especially those in middle age to old age. Currently, we often find elderly people who cannot enjoy an optimal quality of life due to the degenerative diseases they suffer from, so that productivity is hampered. Degenerative diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, and Alzheimer's, not only reduce the quality of life of individuals, but also burden the health system and economy due to high treatment costs.
"This research is a form of innovation and brilliant ideas from IMI researchers that can be used to improve the quality of life of the people of Indonesia and the world," said Prof. Sutiman Bambang Sumitro, SU., D.Sc as an advisor to IMI. IMI itself has been known for its commitment to innovation in the fields of nanotechnology and health. Through this research, IMI together with RAHO Club and Lakesla are trying to answer global challenges in the management of degenerative diseases. IMI sees great potential in hydrogen nanobubble therapy as a non-pharmacological solution that can provide significant therapeutic effects. By utilizing nanotechnology, hydrogen is able to penetrate body tissues more effectively, and provide direct repair to problematic cells. IMI emphasizes that this innovation can be a major breakthrough in the treatment of degenerative diseases, offering a more efficient approach and potentially reducing the cost of treating degenerative diseases.
The use of hydrogen nano bubble therapy is expected to strengthen global health security, especially those related to degenerative diseases, where global health security itself has become an increasingly pressing world issue in this modern era. This research is expected to not only pave the way for more effective treatment for people with degenerative diseases, but also has the potential to provide a positive economic impact for the country. Saving the health budget by reducing the cost of treating degenerative diseases is one of the long-term goals of this project. IMI together with RAHO Club and Lakesla places Indonesia at the forefront in facing increasingly complex global health challenges, while strengthening its position as a major innovator in the development of technology-based health solutions, which bring benefits not only to Indonesia, but also to the world.
