Sherry currently serves as the general secretary of IMI and is also actively engaged as a researcher at the Free Radical Decay Research Institute in Malang. Prior to that, Sherry gained work experience as a teaching assistant in the Department of Biology at the State University of Malang and as an academic staff member at IIBS Tazkia, Malang. Sherry had the opportunity to participate in a one-year short course program at Kumamoto University, Japan, and during that time, Sherry was actively involved as a board member of the Indonesian Student Association Japan-Kumamoto (PPIJK) for the 2018-2019 period.
