Saraswati is a doctor and a director of the Malang Free Radical Decay Research Institute. Previously She has worked at UPTD PMI Malang, UKS SMAN 8 Malang, volunteered for the Foundation for Children with Disabilities (YPAC), sports health unit, and Maternity Hospital of Malang government as a leader. Besides working in the medical field, she has also been a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Merdeka, Malang, and was a dean at the Faculty of Health, Universitas Tribuana Tunggadewi, Malang. She is also involved in various community organizations such as Rotary Club Malang Central (RCMC), Association of Women's Work, Indonesian Political Women's Kaukus, Malang City, and a member of the Association of Indonesian Sexologists.
