Aulanni'am is a professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang. Prof. Aulanni'am has served as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Universitas Brawijaya, Malang.  Aulanni'am holds several patents, including the Thyroid Diseases Autoimmune Detection Kit based on Thyroid Stimulating Hormone Receptor (TSHR) in 2015, the Thyroiditis Autoimmune Detection Kit based on Thyroid Peroxidase Autoantibodies in 2013, and the Early Detection Kit for Joint Tissue Damage in Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients based on Autoimmune Marker Against Matrix Metalloproteinase-3 in 2011. Among the achievements of  Aulanni'am are the Outstanding Lecturer of Universitas Brawijaya in 2009 and the Best Researcher by DIKTI in 2011.
